Not many gastronomic experiences in the NL deserve 5 stars. This one is a surprise exception, tucked away far from tourists. Firstly: it has a great atmosphere, a bright terrace, and friendly/ knowledgable staff. The Bavette was exquisite (exactly medium-rare), and it was served with a simple 3 ingredient salad, creatively assorted. Their Merlot was definitely of better quality. All and all an excellent dining experience.

This place is very cozy, atmospheric, beautifully decorated cafe, friendly staff, small menu but delicious salads and coffee, reasonable prices. I recommend visiting this place

Excellent restaurant. Staff a bit young and not always familiar with the concept of vegan food but they're very friendly and helpful. The dishes we had were great and some of the "amuses" were absolutely delicious (mashed avocado with eel as the non-vegan version for instance). House wine was also good. Absolute worth a visit. I did not get to try the the meat dishes though.

It is located in the center of Rheden, a small and beautiful city in the east of the Netherlands. To be honest, we were initially a bit skeptical about the food, as Indians we always prefer places where we can enjoy something spicy. However, this restaurant completely changed our opinion. My simple toast was so delicious that I could happily choose it over biryani any day. My husband felt the same about the omelette he had. Being a huge egg lover, he said it was the best omelette he’d ever eaten. The gentleman at the counter was also very kind and friendly. I absolutely loved this cozy restaurant! If you are nearby, make sure to visit it.

We didn‘t have much time and I am vegan. The chef came out of the kitchen, asked me if i like eggplants and served me a vegan meal in 5 minutes, wich isn’t on the menu. It was fantastic! Very friendly service, I‘ll visit this restaurant again!
